Description
After a cold snap in Penticton we were blessed with some beautiful calm kayaking weather. These ice formations are from the freezing temps of the water blowing over the breakwater at the Penticton Marina.

It was an awesome experience to paddle around the ice that day. Once and a while we will get quite the cold spell in November. Winters here when I was a kid were colder and much more snow. We would usually have snow all winter long. Lately the past 20 years it has been getting gradually warmer every winter. I am guessing it is a warming trend. Nice to have photos to remember the freaky and unusual days we have. Love living here in the Okanagan and exploring here.
